Artist Statement

I am a photographer . . . or an artist? Not sure what to call myself. My pictures may describe who I am but I may view it differently than others. I try to picture the emotions in life, maybe a feeling or a memory you feel like you can attach to the photo.

I personally don't like to set up pictures. I'd rather feel it in the moment and capture it raw. I try to put a twist into what I do. I don't like to take self-portraits because I caption the world around me with a quote: “Life moves pretty fast, and if you don't stop to look once in a while you could miss it.” So I take a picture in time of the world around me, so you don't miss it.
